Island Dreams at Vilano

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS RENTAL!! Within 20 mins of arrival I had to call for a door code as it was not sent ( host will say I didn’t send in my ID, I did!) verified that the same code would work on the Casita, it didn’t! Called again! They had to send bath towels from Target because there were not enough for the number of guest ( half bath didn’t even have one). The AC stopped working in the Casita Friday night. Called the emergency number provided 3 times between 10am-3pm Saturday, was told I would receive a call back, never did! Called VRBO for help, was told Don, was told he was the owner of the rental company would call me back, he didn’t! Called emergency number again @4 and finally got to speak with Nicholas, who then proceeded to get an attitude with me for wanting the AC fixed, it was 83 degrees in the home. Stated that he couldn’t do anything because he didn’t own the HVAC company. HVAC tech finally arrived around 5 and said he had to have permission from Nicholas to work on the unit, called again, No Freon in the unit, clogged drain pipe, no filter in the return no maintenance! Water line to dishwasher sticks out from cabinet to the walk way, no outside lights worked. Water was seeping in through the floor in the first floor bedroom. Washing machine didn’t work! Don’t plan on enjoying the primary bedroom deck, you can’t open the door to get out to it! The furniture shown in the picture for 2nd floor balcony was not there! Grass overgrown, THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE!!

Great location and house. The pool was a lot of fun and we had a great time in St
