Island Time

Beautiful home, wonderful beach. I dont normally write reviews unless giving a simple 5 stars, but I felt a bit ignored despite multiple requests to the property manager .I felt for a portion of the trip that I was working on the maintenance staff. The moment we walked in the door the smoke detector was going off. Not a problem except they sent the housekeeper, she told ME to get on the ladder to change the batteries. I hesitated but said as long as we have the property managers approval. Smoke detector needed 3 batteries and she brought two. I said we cant sleep with the smoker detector going off all night. She said leave it down and we will replace it in the morning. One day went by, then a second. I called again and they ubered me 3 batteries to replace. So I guess I was getting back up on the ladder. Once plugged back in, the actual house alarm started going off. I called property manager again, and they said someone would be right there. Sure enough the housekeeper comes back 5 hours later with 3 fresh batteries.... I felt like i was in a bad comedy routine. I also voiced displeasure the fountain stopped working after first day. They told me to fill it with more water and to reset the GFI outlet. Did not fix issue. Multiple requests, no one ever came. 200 charbroil grill was filthy, wear and tear on outdoor items. Also the only way in or out is the Yale door lock 2nd floor .Maybe leave garage entry option as the only stair rail was from thegarage for my 80 year old dad?

It was such a fun weekend! The house was perfect!

House was gorgeous, well-maintained, clean. Close enough to lots of activities in St. Augustine, but far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle. Can't beat the amazing views! Our stay in December was a little chilly, but a welcome escape from the cold of the Northeast. The hot tub was perfect and made up for the chill. Very relaxing, wish we could stay forever!

We had a wonderful week at Ocean Bliss- Everyone loved the gopher title living in the dunes and beach and pool were awesome. Night in the hot tub left us all relaxed after a long day. You can't go wrong with this stay!

The house was perfect for our group of all ages! Lots of privacy and great access to the quiet beach! We had a fantastic stay! The house was quiet even when a tropical storm blew in towards the end of our stay.
